Sonio’s ultrasound reporting and practice management software marked its official launch in the United States during the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) annual meeting from February 10 to 14, 2024. The event was attended by over 3,000 maternal-fetal medicine specialists (MFM) and provided a platform for Sonio to introduce its innovative solution and engage with the healthcare community.

At our booth, we hosted the following series of events:

  • Meet and greet with wine and cheese on the opening day of the event
  • Interactive session led by Yinka Oyelese, MD, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
  • Interactive session led by Alan Fishman, MD, Pediatrix Specialty Medical Officer for Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Attendees had the opportunity to meet Sonio’s team and participate in informative sessions led by industry experts.

Yinka Oyelese, MD, from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, led a session on “Enhancing Efficiency and Quality Control in Routine Fetal Ultrasound with AI.” The discussion centered on the potential of artificial intelligence to optimize fetal ultrasound procedures, aligning with Sonio’s commitment to enhancing diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency. Another session, “Embracing the Future with Sonio” featured insights from Dr. Alan Fishman, MD, Pediatrix Specialty Medical Officer for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Fishman highlighted the implementation of Sonio’s cloud-based, AI-powered ultrasound reporting and practice management system at Pediatrix, emphasizing its role in advancing prenatal care practices.

Sonio’s AI-enhanced reporting solution addresses workflow challenges by integrating disparate process steps into one end-to-end platform. Its secure cloud platform enables seamless integration with electronic health records (EHR), billing systems, and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) while providing AI-enabled viewing and reporting.

There was enthusiasm and interest from attendees, who recognized the platform’s potential to streamline ultrasound reporting and image management, ultimately improving patient care outcomes. The discussions reflected Sonio’s dedication to supporting healthcare professionals in delivering optimal patient care through technology-driven innovations.
